Welcome to Chad Systems LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). By purchasing our subscriptions or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Our Services
We provide technical support, architecture design, and consultancy services for select, popular open-source software projects.
Important Note on Open-Source Software: Chad Systems LLC provides independent expertise, guidance, and support. We do not create, own, maintain, or control the underlying open-source projects themselves. All trademarks, copyrights, and intellectual property associated with those open-source projects belong to their respective creators or foundations.
2. Subscriptions and Payments
- Billing: Services are billed on a subscription or per-engagement basis as specified at checkout.
- Cancellations: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Your access to support will continue until the end of your current billing cycle.
- Refunds: Because our services involve dedicated engineering time and consultation, payments are generally non-refundable unless otherwise specified or required by law.
3. Scope of Support & Deliverables
- Best Effort: We provide professional, expert advice to the best of our abilities. However, because open-source software is modified and maintained by external communities, we cannot guarantee that every software bug, upstream issue, or specific architecture limitation can be resolved.
- Client Ownership: You retain full ownership of any code, configurations, or infrastructure blueprints you share with us during our consultations.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chad Systems LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of data, revenue, or system downtime) arising from the use of our advice, architecture recommendations, or support services. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
5. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
